Commissioner of Police (COP) Maame Yaa Tiwaa Addo-Danquah has been appointed as the Director General of Research and Planning. The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) now has DCOP Lydia Yaako Donkor as its new Director General, with COP Frank Abrokwa serving as her deputy. Additionally, several new appointments include COP Paul Manly Awini overseeing Service Workshop and COP Daniel Kwame Afriyie as Director General for Private Security Organization.
Furthermore, COP Dr. Ernest Kwabena Owusu has been designated as the Director General for Services, while COP Mohammed Fuseini Suraji takes charge of the National Patrols Department (NAPD). Other notable appointments include COP Dr. Sayibu Pabi Gariba as the new Technical DG and COP Mr. Michael Nketia Frempong as the DG for Finance.
The changes also extend to various departments, with COP Mr. Asumadu Okyere Darko leading the Police Professional Standards Bureau (PPSB) and COP Iddi Lansah Seidu overseeing welfare.
