Kenya Anticipates Mixed Weather Pattern with Moderate Rainfall and High Temperatures

Parts of eastern Kenya, including Makueni, Machakos, and Taita Taveta, face heightened risks of elevated heat stress. The seasonal forecast for March through May highlights drier-than-normal weather for regions including most of Ethiopia, Somalia, Djibouti, and parts of Kenya, while wetter conditions are anticipated for western and southwestern Kenya, eastern Uganda, and other neighboring territories.
