The ministry advised travelers to reconsider their journeys in affected provinces unless absolutely necessary.
In its announcement, the ministry urged citizens to avoid night travel and ensure their vehicles are in good mechanical condition by checking important elements such as battery, brakes, lighting, tire pressure, and windshield wipers. Vigilance is especially encouraged in areas prone to flooding, including low points, dry riverbeds, and flood channels, where submerged fords should be avoided.
