Since the elections on October 9, Mozambique has faced significant unrest, leading to tragic outcomes, with at least 353 fatalities and extensive injuries reported by the non-governmental organization Decide, which monitors electoral processes. Official government reports confirm 80 deaths and extensive destruction of businesses, schools, and health facilities during the protests, underlining the urgent need for reform and dialogue in the country.
