FEMA is offering free rebuilding advice to survivors of Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane Helene in Coffee and Effingham counties, through Mitigation Specialists available at Lowe’s locations from January 6 to January 18, except January 12.

In response to the challenges faced by survivors of Tropical Storm Debby and Hurricane Helene, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is providing complimentary rebuilding advice in Coffee and Effingham counties. This assistance is accessible at two Lowe’s locations: one at 1340 Bowens Mill Road SE in Douglas and the other at 5150 Hwy. 21 South in Rincon. FEMA Mitigation Specialists will be present to offer guidance on home improvement, techniques to mitigate future damage, and strategies for constructing hazard-resistant homes. The specialists will be available daily from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on Sunday, January 12, from January 6 through January 18.
