On May 21, GMet issued additional warnings regarding anticipated thunderstorms and moderate to heavy rainfall in various regions. This is aimed at preparing residents for the evolving weather conditions that could persist in the coming days.

In light of the ongoing threats, Mr. Adu Bonsu Gabriel, who serves as the Director for the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) in the Ahafo region, has called upon individuals living in flood-prone areas to seek safer alternatives. His emphasis on early action resonates amid concerns that delayed responses could lead to more disasters in the future.
