Today marks the first solar eclipse of 2025, a partial eclipse not visible in Pakistan. It can be seen across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, beginning at 1:51 PM PST and peaking at 3:47 PM PST. A second solar eclipse will occur on September 21-22, 2025, also not visible from Pakistan.

A partial solar eclipse is set to occur today, March 29, 2025. However, it will not be visible from Pakistan, as confirmed by the Pakistan Meteorological Department. This celestial event will be visible across Europe, Northern Asia, large portions of North and South America, and the Atlantic and Arctic regions.

The eclipse will commence at 1:51 PM PST, reach its peak at 3:47 PM PST, and conclude at 5:44 PM PST. Following this event, a second solar eclipse is scheduled for September 21 and 22, 2025, which will also be invisible from Pakistan. This subsequent eclipse will be observable from Southern Australia, as well as across the Pacific, Atlantic, and Antarctica.

Earlier in March, the first total lunar eclipse of the year occurred, where it was visible from regions including Europe, much of Asia, Australia, Africa, North America, South America, and the polar areas of Pacific, Atlantic, and Antarctica.

In summary, while today’s partial solar eclipse will showcase an impressive display visible across several regions, it remains inaccessible to viewers in Pakistan. Looking ahead, another solar eclipse will take place later in the year, again excluding Pakistan from visibility. Additionally, this month has already seen a significant total lunar eclipse, further igniting interest in astronomical events.
