A man named Mubarak, believed to be mentally unstable, has been apprehended by the Niger State Police Command for fatally stabbing a 25-year-old resident, Shamseen Danshehu, in Minna. This incident occurred during a physical altercation on Sunday evening in the Kwangila area. Sadly, Danshehu was pronounced dead upon arrival at Minna General Hospital.

Police spokesperson Wasiu Abiodun confirmed the details of the incident and the arrest, stating, “the suspect was arrested.”

Abiodun elaborated, stating that Mubarak, presumed to be scavenging, engaged in a fight with Danshehu, during which he allegedly stabbed him in the chest with scissors. He affirmed that the victim succumbed to his injuries shortly after reaching the hospital and confirmed that Mubarak is in custody for further investigation.
