Wasiu Abiodun, the spokesman for the Niger State Police Command, confirmed the incident on Monday. Abiodun stated, “It was reported that one Mubarak, who is suspected of insanity… had a fight with a passerby, Shamsu Danshehu. During the fight, the said scavenger stabbed Shamsu on the chest with scissors.”
