To ensure a memorable experience for the participants, known as “caravanites,” GB Foods provided special souvenir packs which included tote bags, hand fans, and waist bags.
On March 2nd, the caravan visited the Volta Region for the Volta Food Festival, allowing participants to enjoy traditional Voltarian dishes such as “Akple” and “Abobitadi,” alongside various stews and soups featuring Gino Peppe and Onion Mix. The following day, the caravan stopped in the Upper East Region at the Gbewa Palace, where GB Foods showcased Pomo Tomato Mix through tastings of Tuo Zaafi, Ayoyo Soup, and Dawadawa Jollof.
On March 6th, the caravan continued to the Ashanti Region for the Independence Day edition of the “Pomo Mukaase wura,” celebrating local cuisine and culture. Attendees relished delicious local dishes, enjoyed refreshing drinks, and participated in traditional games. The event highlighted rich culinary traditions while reinforcing community engagement.
The pinnacle of the caravan’s activities took place on March 8th at Maaha Beach Resort, where a delightful barbecue featuring the jollof rice made with Gino Jollof Mix was served.
