Affected areas including Marrakech, Berrechid, El Jadida, Rhamna, Safi, and Sidi Bennour will experience these conditions beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday. Additionally, snowfall is anticipated in locations exceeding 1,900 meters, specifically in Ouarzazate, Tinghir, Al Haouz, Azilal, and Beni Mellal, with accumulations between 5 to 20 centimeters expected.

The snowfall will also impact Ifrane and Midelt, as conditions are projected to commence from 6 p.m. on Monday until noon on Tuesday. Previous rainfall has rejuvenated numerous water sources across Morocco, which had suffered from prolonged drought. This precipitation has invigorated river systems and replenished reservoirs.

As of Saturday, Morocco’s dam reservoirs were reported at 33.82% of their total capacity, equating to approximately 5.7 billion cubic meters of water, an increase from 4.8 billion cubic meters prior to the rainy period.
