Support Efforts for Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred by the ADF

The ADF is actively supporting response efforts for Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred, deploying over 1,200 personnel across Queensland and New South Wales, conducting welfare checks, and offering logistical and medical support after recent incidents.
On March 12, 2025, the Australian Defence Force (ADF) collaborated closely with the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), and state emergency authorities in Queensland and New South Wales to provide support in response to Ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred. Currently, the ADF has deployed approximately 500 personnel to Queensland and over 700 to New South Wales, assisting with reconnaissance and welfare checks in affected regions.
