CFMoto 675NK Naked Bike Set for Launch in Malaysia Soon

The CFMoto 675NK, a high-performance naked bike, is set to launch in Malaysia, following the introduction of its sibling, the 675 SR-R. Featuring a powerful 675cc engine and advanced technology, the 675NK is designed to compete in the middleweight segment against brands like Kawasaki and Honda. Expectations for the pricing suggest it may be lower than the SR-R, promoting broader market accessibility.
CFMoto is set to excite Malaysian riders with the impending launch of the 675NK, a high-performance naked bike priced for accessibility. This announcement follows the recent introduction of the CFMoto 675 SR-R, confirmed via a social media post by Pandu Laju after attending the Global Launch in Portugal.
Unveiled at EICMA 2024 in Italy, the 675NK features CFMoto’s new triple-cylinder engine platform, showcasing a 675cc liquid-cooled DOHC three-cylinder engine. This powertrain provides 88 hp and 68 Nm of torque, coupled with a six-speed gearbox that includes an assist and slipper clutch alongside a quickshifter for enhanced performance.
The 675NK is equipped with advanced suspension, featuring a fully adjustable 41mm KYB USD fork at the front and a rear monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound settings. Advanced braking systems include four-piston radial-mount calipers gripping dual 300mm discs in front, with a single-piston caliper on a 240mm disc at the rear. Standard features also include two-channel ABS, two-level traction control, and a 15-liter fuel tank capacity.
Riders will appreciate the bike’s 5-inch TFT display which provides phone connectivity, information access, and setting adjustments. Additionally, over-the-air (OTA) updates and enhanced interaction via the CFMoto RIDE app are valuable modern features that enhance user engagement.
Positioned strongly in the middleweight naked bike segment, the 675NK challenges established brands like Kawasaki, Triumph, and Honda. As the naked variant of the 675 SR-R, the anticipated price is projected to hover around RM37,888, potentially undercutting the SR-R to attract a broader customer base.
With CFMoto’s expanding influence in Asia, the introduction of the 675NK signifies a strategic pursuit of dominance in the competitive middleweight category. As Chinese manufacturers ramp up innovation and pricing competitiveness, the motorcycle market landscape in Malaysia is poised for significant transformation.
The upcoming launch of the CFMoto 675NK in Malaysia marks an important milestone for CFMoto as it strives to establish itself further in the competitive middleweight naked bike market. The 675NK combines advanced features with an exciting performance-oriented design, enhancing its appeal to riders. As the market evolves, the 675NK is well-positioned to challenge established competitors, encouraging a dynamic shift within the motorcycle segment.
