On Thursday, a postmortem was performed on Campbell Scott, a British national found dead in Makongo Forest. The Deputy Government Pathologist, Dr. Richard Njoroge, did not disclose the findings. Two suspects are in custody as investigations continue, with the body transferred to Lee Funeral Home.

A postmortem examination of British national Campbell Scott, aged 58, was conducted on Thursday at the Makueni County Referral Hospital mortuary under the supervision of Deputy Government Pathologist Dr. Richard Njoroge. Accompanied by representatives from the Homicide Division of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations based in Nairobi, Dr. Njoroge opted not to reveal the cause of death after completing the examination.

Dr. Njoroge stated, “I cannot speak today, not today,” when approached by the media seeking information on Scott’s death. Additionally, David Hornus, a family representative who observed the postmortem, also refrained from providing any comments to the press.

The body of Campbell Scott was discovered in a sack alongside pineapples in Makongo Forest by a local herder on Sunday. Authorities have arrested a taxi driver and a waiter, both of whom are aiding police with their ongoing investigation. Homicide detectives collected samples for further analysis following the postmortem, and the body has since been moved to Lee Funeral Home in Nairobi.

The autopsy of Campbell Scott is currently shrouded in secrecy, with no details released about the cause of his death. Investigations are ongoing, involving multiple arrests as authorities work to elucidate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
