Proforce Secures PF Hulk Vehicle Orders from Mali and Nigeria at IDEX 2025

At IDEX 2025, Proforce announced orders from Mali and Nigeria for the PF Hulk vehicle, a licensed production of the Russian AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’. The vehicle accommodates 10 personnel and boasts significant engine power and mine protection capabilities. Proforce also introduced the PF Viper upgrade for greater adaptability.
Proforce, a Nigerian defense manufacturer, has announced that both Mali and Nigeria have placed orders for the PF Hulk, a protected vehicle, during the International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEX) 2025 in Abu Dhabi, which occurred from February 17 to 21. It has been confirmed that the PF Hulk is produced under license in Nigeria.
The PF Hulk is a derived model of the AMN-590951 ‘Spartak’ 4×4 protected vehicle from Russia. This vehicle features a five-door configuration that accommodates 2+8 personnel, has a gross weight of 14.5 tonnes, and is powered by a YaMZ-536 six-cylinder engine that delivers 360 horsepower. Moreover, it meets mine protection standards according to STANAG 4569 for levels 2a and 2b.
In addition to the PF Hulk, Proforce is marketing an upgraded variant known as the PF Viper, which modifies the Otokar Cobra vehicle. This upgrade features an additional pair of doors for enhanced accessibility and improves engine cooling to suit the African climate. The PF Viper weighs seven tonnes and utilizes a 3-litre V6 Hyundai engine, producing up to 250 horsepower.
