Lawal, who played professionally for Vipers Sports Club, reportedly fell from the third floor of the Voicemall Shopping Arcade on February 24, 2025. Preliminary details reveal that he had arrived at the mall to visit a friend, and shortly after being left alone, he fell from the balcony and was taken to Entebbe Referral Hospital, where he was declared dead.
Items belonging to Lawal, including two smartphones and personal belongings, were discovered in his black backpack. Authorities are currently reviewing CCTV footage and conducting interviews as part of their investigation to clarify the circumstances surrounding his death, as reported by the local Kajjansi Police Division.
