Uganda’s Electoral Commissioner Praises Ghana’s Election Integrity Measures

Regarding the implementation of Biometric Verification Devices (BVDs), he stated that this technology prevents unauthorized voting, thereby strengthening the integrity of the election. He asserted that using machines for verification fosters reliability, as it ensures that only registered voters at a polling station can participate. Mr. Okello concluded by remarking on the system’s effectiveness, stating, “This is all very good and it is a talking machine and everybody can hear that person has been validated.”
